Guest Dave Newell
Hi David, The GRP luton "pod" shouldn't affect the gps reception although in some circumstances an external aeriel will cure occasional reception loss. I'd suggest you try it first and only if you encounter problems resort to an external aeriel. Regards, D. www.davenewell.co.uk
Guest David Powell
Hello one of the many Davids...I have my GPS positioned in the centre of the dash under a GRP luton all last year. So far no problem. It is only a cheap Acer N35 PDA type, always get a good signal except when in heavily wooded area on a damp dewy morning, so perhaps most signals come in from the sides. Some one on here will know about that, I am not very knowledgable on the subject of GPS I am just a user. On normal roads, no problems.
