grill

We had a similar problem which turned out to be a fan failure causing grill to overheat and cut out. But we could light it initially though. Can you clarify type and model of grill and whether it will light initially or not.

If it will not light initially it is likely the thermocouple as mentioned previously. If it lights but then cuts out after a short while it may be like ours if it is a Truma Midi Prima with a fan.

Holidaying in scotland and grill will only work if i keep the gas knob pushed in any idea please

Ours is temperamental. Does your grill door have two positions,- horizontal open, and partly open, say 45deg.? We have to light the grill when fully open, move the door partially closed ( there is a detent position) whilst holding the knob in for a further minute or so. Always lights after 2-3 attempts. Don’t be too impatient with it and release the knob too soon.
