If you are only tending to use this mircowave when connected via a mains hookup then OK. Stick to a straight forward mains microwave, not one that has another element for "browning" as this increases the electrical loading. You should be fine with a quite powerfull microwave of 800 watts in the vast bulk of camp sites. But hey, what,s the rush? its HOLIDAY, take your time and use the oven if you need to! We thought about a microwave ourselves but after asking "why" we decided against it. But its your money and your lifestyle. Enjoy

We used a small (1 foot cube in size) 500watt microwave by Samsung. It was ideal for heating some things including babies bottles but now we have an equally small size dual element oven/grill (800watts) from the local saver store for £15. It's much better at heating pies, croissants etc

Andy, We are looking for a microwave because we don't have an oven in our continental van. A normal size one is just 2cms too wide to fit the cupboard and although we have found references to the Samsung cube (is it an M308?) we cannot find one to buy. Where did you get it? It would suit us just fine I think. Many thanks
