motor Home Covers

Hi all.

With ref to my first ever post on 16th October 2018 on the subject of whether or not to fit a motorhome cover for the winter months on our new Autocriuse 115.

Thankyou for all your replys and after giving it much consideration we decided not to fit one , at least not for this winter. As we still intend to use the van occasionally during the winter for day trips, we thought that this would possibly be an unecessary task to remove and refit bearing in mind we are in our 70's.

Also we still have our £155.

We have stripped the van of most of the soft furnishings and followed tips on winterising and fingers crossed we will see how the van comes through this winter.

Looking forward already to Spring and a tour of Wales.

Thankyou all once again

Hi, we had our van from new for 12years. Never covered it, just kept the roof washed if it got dirty.

Regarding inside. If you are going to use van in winter, just keep some of the damp crystals inside van. We used about 3 in various areas . Would only bother to take out furnishing if being laid up for a long period! . Don't know where you live, but never found it a problem living on the south coast. Maybe a different matter if you live a long way north!
