John, Do you mean you need to replace a damaged window or have you got a continental van with a clear bathroom window and you want to retain your modesty? For the former try http://www.eeco-ltd.co.uk/ For the latter, we had a mobilvetta with a clear bathroom window, seems to be common on continental vans (thet're probably all exhibitionists), we stuck some frosted opaque fablon on the inside of the window (available from all good wilko stores), worked a treat. pete.

Thanks to all for your useful contributions. Seems new opaque windows are a rarity in UK, so will have to consider the options you suggested. John

John: Our Hobby has an opaque bathroom window manufactured by Polyplastic. This make is marketed in the UK via Miriad Products at Burton-upon-Trent (www.miriad-products.com) and, although Miriad tends to specialise in replacement windows, they may be able to help you. (Miriad also sell other well-known makes like Truma and Thetford). My own experience is that, if a bathroom window is sufficiently opaque to ensure there is no 'Chinese shadowing' (as the French call it), this can result in a very gloomy atmosphere unless there is another source of daylight (like a roof-light). My personal choice would be for a clear window with a blind or curtain for privacy - however, as is the case with the Hobby, I recognise that this arrangement may be impracticable.
