silverback
can you over night in Harwich ferry terminal for a sailing next day at 9am? regards Jonathan
Guest Peter James
I have seen a couple of motorhomes parked up in Parkstone Harbour where all the ferries go from. But I have never stayed there myself because it looks a noisy place with nothing of interest there. I much prefer to stay in Harwich town a mile further on, which is a destination in itself. Parking is largely unrestricted and I had a couple of nights parked on Harbour Crescent this June with no problems at all - great views across to Felixtowe and a short walk into the attractive town :-D
tugga
Silverback, we have stayed at Hariwich port many a time overnight and as has been mentioned, it is very noisy. We just pulled up at the booking in terminal, chose a lane number and bedded down for the night. It is quite safe as there are usually a few caravans/motorhomes parked up and no matter what line you get in, it will be the wrong one for booking in :-D
