Guest pelmetman
Given that the Spanish and Pourtuguese economies would be stuffed if they shut the border again 8-) ....... I suspect they will remain open :D ...... But would I want to be heading South for the winter? :-S ......... Having been the the penulitmate camper to leave our campsite in Lockdown Spain ;-) ........ I really don't think I or Horace need that kinda excitement ....Again........ at my or Horace's age 8-) ........ That said ;-) ........ I was well chuffed that my 30 year old camper got us back to Blighty towing a trailer in just 3 days 8-) .......
steve hill
We like you are wondering about getting down there, but at the moment are wondering about travel insurance and who would give Covid cover now that we have been officialy warned off by the FCO and have not yet got any. Any up to date ideas gratefully received?
david lloyd
Doubt you will get any travel insurance Steve - we took out insurance with Eurotunnel when booking the train for an October departure. Fortunately I rang them to ask if it would still cover us and the answer was no but we were still within 14 day cancellation period so got the £347 back. Decision now is whether to rely simply in EHIC (until end December) or not go at all. If you do want to go you may very well find yourself in the same position. Keithl
When I saw the thread title "spanish boarder (sic)" I thought where are the Spanish trying to come on board? Keith. (My attempt at humour in these difficult times).
