Derek Uzzell
The UK customer support phone number on the TomTom website is given as 020 7949 0132 HOWEVER TomTom’s UK support phone service was evidently suspended in April 2020 as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic. These two TomTom forum threads refer https://discussions.tomtom.com/en/discussion/1122389/customer-service-contact-details-during-covid-19-epidemic https://discussions.tomtom.com/en/discussion/1123067/tomtom-customer-support-is-not-working-how-can-i-contact-tomtom-customer-support Depending on why you want to get in touch wit TomTom, you could try using their ‘chat bot’ https://help.tomtom.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360015568919 https://help.tomtom.com/hc/en-gb/categories/360002542640-Drive-Products TomTom also has a Facebook/Twitter presence and comments on this link complain about difficulties in obtaining support https://www.facebook.com/pg/TomTom/posts/?ref=page_internal
Pete-B
Thanks Derek, I've always been able to send a chosen route from TomToms My Drive to my camper s/nav. But, for some reason and after restarting both laptop and device, re-loading My Drive it still won't happen. The other day I did go onto their Chat Bot but somehow finished up talking to scammers who seemed very genuine. I stupidly let them take control of my laptop to sort the problem. They said they would, but I would have to pay a yearly amount to a plan, I instantly put the phone down after calling them scammers and robbers. stevec176
A quick word of warning, if you've let someone take control of your laptop or PC there's a good chance it will now have some kind of program on it that will still allow them to access it. If you know someone who can check it for get it checked, your anti virus probably won't be able to find it. If I were you I wouldn't even turn it on again until its been checked out. I know what I'm talking about as I worked in IT for many years and have had to clean many systems. Sorry but it could be very expensive if you use it to access your bank accounts. DJA
As has already been stated there are no phone line connections to Tomtom Customer Support but there is a Chat facility during normal working hours Mon/Fri and a messaging facility. I would suggest that you go to the Tomtom Discussion Forum and log into your TT account there and raise you problem as there are some users there who may be able to resolve the issue for you. If you need to contact Customer Support then whilst in the Forum you can do the following. https://discussions.tomtom.com/en/discussions Tap Support at the top of the forum page You then HAVE to Sign in Top Right of next Page. (you have to do this) When signed in Tap Contact Us bottom right Help Box appears and at the bottom is a message option Type Contact or Chat in the box If Chat is available you should be offered the chance to Tap Live Chat If it is Out of Hours for Chat you should be offered an option to message Chat is the best option as that gives you to chance to communicate with someone directly If the above suggestion does not work exactly as described then try another Web Browser. Derek Uzzell
You’ll see from Pete’s posting of 29 October 2021 3:43 PM above that he went down the TomTom ‘chat’ route, but - somehow - seemed to end up on a telephone link. 'The other day I did go onto their Chat Bot but somehow finished up talking to scammers who seemed very genuine. I stupidly let them take control of my laptop to sort the problem. They said they would, but I would have to pay a yearly amount to a plan, I instantly put the phone down after calling them scammers and robbers.” I have no first-hand experience of TomTom devices, but it seems from online TomTom-related discussions that nowadays certain services require a subscription (example here) https://discussions.tomtom.com/en/discussion/1120874/what-happened-to-50-free-miles-per-month The trouble with chat-based support is that complicated enquiries won’t be handleable by a ’bot’ and, if a human then takes over the conversation, there’s absolutely no guarantee that he/she will understand the enquiry or be able to provide the information that the enquirer is looking for. Probably Pete’s best bet is to ask about his MyDrive issue by posting to the TomTom Discussions forum. https://discussions.tomtom.com/en/ (I was tasked with providing IT customer support for a while. I didn’t much care for it and attempting to resolve problems remotely by phone could be time-consuming, frustrating and often end up requiring a ‘home visit’. Obviously TomTom is not going to send someone to Pete’s house to investigate his laptop and sat-nav and look over his shoulder when he tries to transfer a route from laptop to sat-nav. But if advice from the TomTom Discussions forum fails to sort out the problem, Pete may have to put up with it.)

Pete Thanks for that mate, I went onto TomTom chat line this morning and was told there's a new update for My Drive which I should install. I did this and now everything seems OK. Many thanks for everyone's help.
