You can add photo's anytime you want, the 30mins limit doesn't apply, or at least didn't last time I tried.

Derek Uzzell
For the benefit of the comedians among us, charleydog had already asked about attaching a photo to a forum posting https://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/photo-on-forum/55424/ There’s guidance in the forum’s FAQ section and also in this 2019 forum thread https://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/Posting-Photos-/37941/ but just to repeat this **************************************************************************************** THE CRITICAL THING IS TO ENSURE THAT THE SIZE OF THE FILE BEING ATTACHED DOES NOT EXCEED 100KB The basic procedure for attaching a file to a forum posting is as follows: 1: Type the posting’s text into the Message box. 2: Tick the box titled "Attach a file after posting”. 3: Click the posting’s SUBMIT button. An “Attach a file” box should now appear, When it does 4: Click on the “Choose File” button. The response to clicking on the “Choose File” button will depend on the device you are using - I use an Apple iMac desk-top computer and an Apple iPad and the response of the former differs from that of the latter as their file management systems differ. But however your device (PC, Mac, tablet, phone) responds, you’ll need to identify and choose the file you want to attach. The file-name should now appear alongside the “Choose File” button. When it does 5: Click on the “Submit” button. If the file you are trying to attach has a format that the forum’s software can handle, a message (in red) “Upload successful” should appear, plus information showing the name of the file and its size. 6: Now click on "Return to the thread” in the “Actions” box to complete the process. (If you want to attach several files, repeat actions 4 and 5 as necessary, and then click on "Return to the thread”.) ...................................................................................................................................... If I attempt to attach a fairly large file I may get the following error message Request object error 'ASP 0104 : 80004005' Operation not Allowed /forums/includes/include-upload.asp, line 51 However, if the file is really large, the attachment process sometimes seems to fail with no error message and with “no file selected” appearing alongside the “Choose File” button. **************************************************************************************** Hopefully Colin's email to Charleydog will be prove fruitful. (There’s a reasonable chance that, if Charleydog describes the mysterious part in words, someone will know what it is for.)

paulmold
Regular questions on the AS forum - I'm guessing it will be the funnel for adding oil or the adaptor plate for fitting the steel spare wheel in place of an alloy.

My guess is the oil filler extension too :-D
Derek Uzzell
I think the adapter ‘plate’ needed to allow an alloy wheel to be attached to the spare-wheel windlass system used on X250/X290 Boxer/Ducato/Relay panel-vans is as shown on the poor-quality 1st photo below. I don’t know what information would be in a Peugeot Boxer handbook about this, but the Ducato handbook advice is as shown in the four .png files that follow. (Sounds like real fun... ;-) )

Derek Uzzell
The circular ‘plate’ is availble from Coastal Motorhomes and its Fiat Part Number is 1363712080 https://coastalmotorhomes.co.uk/body-exhaust/spare-wheel-mount-tools/fiat-ducato-peugeot-boxer-citroen-relay-15-16-wheel-mounting-bracket-06-on-oe.html Fiat Owner Handbooks seem to suggest that - for X250 models (built mid-2006 to mid-2014) - the plate alone is needed when mounting an alloy wheel in the spare-wheel position. But for X290 models (built from mid-2014 onwards) the three bolts shown in the photo on Colin’s posting are also required. (I don’t know the bolts’ Part Number.) Derek Uzzell
paulmold - 2020-06-17 1:16 PM Do I get a prize? Yes, I notice that you don’t have a forum avatar, so - in my capacity as a forum moderator - I’m awarding you this one. You’ll have to load it yourself into your Profile via the Forums Control Panel, as I can’t do that (yet).
