southportdave
Good Morning Everyone We could do this some advice please, as we are thinking of buying a park home, as our main residence. We have already put down a deposit on a pitch and chosen the home that we want. Just need to sell our flat. As this is a new concept to us, we have some concerns about this new life style. Our first main concern is the cost of and efficiency of heating a park home. I know being warm is different to different people, but we are just after a general opinion. Do we have to buy the LGP from our residential site office ? I have sourced locally that a supplier charges £65.00 per 47 klgs, is that about average ? How prone are Park Homes to damp, condensation etc and how can it be dealt with ? How and what needs to be done to maintain to outside? I am sure we will have more question to think of, however, these are the main ones at present. We would be very grateful for answers to the above, as well as any suggestions or opinions to Park Home living. Many thanks.
