I reckon that the Plitvice Lakes are worth a visit, especially on a sunny day.
They are a chain of 16 azure lakes connected like a staircase.
We stayed at Camping Korana near Plitvice from where there are shuttle buses to the lakes.
I don't recall any problem with the site and the lakes are worth a day out.

Have a good trip.

p.s. But stay on main roads to get to the lakes from the coast. We tried a short cut across country and ended up on what looked like single track bridleways.

Hi Geof and Angie

We found Camping Sirena on the outskirts of Novigrad to be a lovely Site.
A lovely walk into the town and open or shaded pitches.

They are in the ACSI book so if you go in june they are cheap.

There are many lovely sites all along the Istra coast so you will have plenty of choice.
