Knaus Posted July 19, 2014 Share Posted July 19, 2014 Hi Just come back from spending 4 nights here. Just a word of warning if you go there. Refuse a pitch in the Laurels which is opposite the reception, bar, restaurant and sanitary block. There are many workmen staying on site and many vehicles which park outside the reception area. They run their engines whilst stationery and the diesel fumes fill the air. It is noisy and unpleasant. The area around is very nice, but we won't be going there again. The workmen are residents, who spend the day tarmacking driveways etc. Having said that we had no troubles, other than a bit of noise. The bar was not my kind of place either.
