My wife and I (plus two Persian cats) are planning to visit the La Rochelle an Gulf decMorbien area mid Sepember and are looking for site recommendations that provide easy access to surrounding area, bus, cycle routes etc. Our motorhome is just over 9m long

Apart from finding sites open, at that time of year, with a 9m van you may struggle .Do you have to check that you can get on the pitches, before you go to sites. ? We find so many sites have quiet small pitches, as the original lay outs where for caravans and cars Have you looked at ACSI ?

Yes - have looked through ACSI listings several sites list facilities for larger vans just looking for a personal recommendation rather than relying on pot luck!
