motorhomefinder Posted September 25, 2006 Share Posted September 25, 2006 After finishing a year of fulltiming in our Kontiki, we have ended up as assistant wardens at Lime Tree Park, Buxton, (www.limetreeparkbuxton.co.uk ) . Although the site facilities are drained down at the end of October, we have decided to allow motorhomes on throughout the winter, apart from January. A hard standing pitch with electric will be £10pn. The drinking water and elsan will be available (unless it's frozen) but there will be no toilets or showers. Apparently motorhomers kept phoning all last winter and a few were allowed to stay, so this year we are actually telling people the service is available. The website as plenty of pics and info for the site and the site is great for visiting places like Chatsworth house. The site and job is great, we have decided to stop fulltiming and do next season here aswell, so if anyone wants a fully kitted out Kontiki Z, we have one for sale.
