arthur49
Whilst in Croatia this September we decided to visit Montenegro for a few days. The weather was so hot we decided to go inland to the mountains. We:- - were charged 30Euro at the border 'green tax' (cars are 10Euro) - bought a map from official tourist information lady at border for 7Euro which was pretty poor - found it difficult to find a campsite inland - found the people very friendly and helpful - thought mountain scenery stunning - found roadsigns not very helpful (infrequent and included Russian version of place names) - were 'stalked' by a police patrol car for 5 miles (we were not stopped) so we crossed border after 5 hours into Bosnia .........even our cassette toilet innards were checked on exit and again 5 minutes later when we entered Bosnia! Our conclusions - stunning scenery inland but they are not ready for motorhomers and 37 Euro for entry and a poor map left a bitter taste of being ripped off Arthur
