Just returned from a weekend away at the CC Moreton site. As usual we had pre-prepared a nice stew for the first night, only the dumplings to prepare once on site, however, as we pulled up there was a Fish & Chip van at the entrance and the queue was massive. Once booked in and on our pitch we decided to save our planned meal for another day and go and try the Fish & Chips and what a good decision that was
The site is typical CC Standard, immaculate, very clean and warm toilet blocks, large pitches and very freindly and welcoming wardens.
the site is just a 10 minute walk from the smal market town itself and there is enough to wile away a few hours. There is a Budgens Supermarket which sells everything you could wish for or forgotten. A small selection of Restaraunts and more than its share of Pubs/Hotels as well as antique shops.
The town has a small rail station which goes to Cheltenham and Oxford and their are buses that take you to Stratford-on-Avon, Stow-on-the-Wold and other Cotswold towns.
This will probably be a regular weekend bolt hole for us as it is within an hours drive.

Enjoy, it is a lovely site, near a lovely town in a lovely area, can't go wrong really. One tip, if you prefer a bit of peace and quiet e.g. no children then when you book in look for pitches on the right hand side as those on the left are near the childrens play area. Also, if you have a satelite or TV then do not park under the trees. We found a lovely corner pitch (No 69) in a little cul-de-sac, marvellous And finally, Tuesday is Market day and also Curry Night !!
