geoffhar
We are looking for a family site in this area of Dorset. Can anyone suggest somewhere without entertainment but with easy access for walking?
mel wood
Corfe Castle Camping and Caravanning Club site will meet your needs. It is a short walk from the castle and the village. Steam trains run from the village to Swanage. There is also access to good walking areas directly from the site and village. If you are not already a member of the Camping and Caravanning Club and wish to use this (or any other CCC sites) I suggest you pay the thirty something pounds to join as non-members pay an extra supplement of £7 per night. Membership will give you access to club sites with special family deals at certain times of year, temporary holiday sites, discount at Forest Holidays sites, a monthly magazine, 2 camping sites books and access to certificated sites only open to members. We have been members for 17 years and feel it is worth while. One note of caution though - there is a £25 deposit on a booking and if you cancel within 7 days of your scheduled stay you will forfeit your deposit.
