Having a look around
Hello
We are planning to visit Denmark in July. We will travel into France via the channel tunnel then head up through Germany. This is a new experience for us, as we have mainly taken our motorhome to France, Germany and Spain.
Can anyone recommend camp sites near places of interest/towns/villages. Any other tips gratefully received.
Many thanks
Kathy

Hi, we haven't camped in Denmark but did cycling holiday 3 years ago using B & B on the island of Fyn (Funen). The islands just off the bottom of Funen are brilliant and ferries over quite reasonably priced for cyclists or pediestrians. You can leave the van and take the ferry and return in a day - walking or cycling depends on the size of the island. We liked Aeroskoping particularly. On the main island of Funen, there's an amazing Viking burial mound and musem near Kerteminde. Denmark is a very calming place with everyone speaking good English. Enjoy your holiday.
