Randonneur Posted May 10, 2007 Share Posted May 10, 2007 These are the France Passion sites we have stayed on ov er the last few days: Ile D'Oleron, Saint Pierre D'Oleron, Guy Videau, page 102 in 07 book. This is a lovely place with very friendly owners. You are parked at the start of the rows of vines. Although it states room for 5 in the book there were 8 vans there, so it is very popular. Ideal if you have bikes etc. Sadly we didn't take ours but we will next time. You are allowed to stay 3 nights. There is a spotless toilet facility open when the office/shop is open. You have to produce your France Passion membership card also. Matha, nr Cognac, Joan Brisson, page 100 in 07 book. This is again a lovely place with a Bamboo garden. 100's of different varieties of Bamboo are set out for you to look around with a small pond in the middle with ducks and hens. We were the only ones there so the gates were closed and locked in the evening so we had the place to ourselves. There is a small wooden chalet that has two toilets and a washbain in complete with electric. Absolutely spotless. The garden is open to visitors during the day.
