Hi our labrador dog is frightened of fireworks and gets in a terrible state so we thought we'd get away into the countryside in our motorhome this weekend away from the fireworks.
We live near derby and wouldn't mind going over towards staffs/shropshire way - any ideas on sites?

Hi Nell, we too have a dog that hates fireworks, I have tried all the usual stuff of having music on loud and using natural products from the vet. You can't explain to your faithful friend that they won't hurt him can you....
Good luck with your search for a site, sorry I can't help I am in the south and haven't got any site experience up north yet.

you can't explain the them, as you say, ours is 9 years old and he hasn't improved with age yet. our 2 year old is as laid back as they come and doesn't seem bothered although he does sense that the other one is upset and tries to calm him in his doggy fashion.
