Just registered with out and about so this is first question! We are ferrying to Santander for 1st time and are travelling up through NW Spain into France. Has anyone any info that might help (and anywhere that is worth a visit?) and any sites that come recommended? Tx v much

Welcome to the madhouse jenandron.
This has been oft discussed and if you try using the search facility - when t works that is - using the keywords 'spanish sites' or similar you will probably get loads of info.
Vicarious books do a ASCI sites book and a book of 'Aires' in Spain and Portugal and another for France which are very handy and if nothing else their website (enter 'Vicarious Books' into Google) has a lot of info.
The CC and CCC do handy foreign touring info and sites books - so I'm told - although I've never used 'em meself!
