spicera
I have just been reading, with horror, that midges are likely to be 800 times worse than usual this year, thanks to the insulation of all the snow! We are heading for Clactoll, near Lochinver, for 2 weeks, in about 2 weeks time! We are armed, as ever, with our trusty Avon Skin So Soft, which has worked for us in the past, but I am thinking we might need to ramp up our protection this year. So my questions are: 1) Anyone know how bad the midges can get at Clachtoll? 2) Has anyone used Smidge? I want to know how many bottles I need to buy for a family of four to last over 2 weeks. Any other hints would be gratefully received. I must say though that nothing would put us off going. The North West of Scotland is one of the most beautiful places in the world, and I can't wait to get there! Many thanks, Arwen 8-) 8-)
