CMB
Hi we are new to camping but as a family have decided to buy a big tent. We really like the Vango Killington600 but have been a bit put off by a few peoples comments that some sites can't accomodate a tent that takes up this much space, or you get charged for two pitches. Can anyone offer us any advice? Thanks
CamperPete
It will depend on the pitch size per site. Some sites don't have marked pitches so no problem with the size of your tent others have larger marked pitches and some pitches you couldn't swing a cat on. You'll be best to ring a few campsites in the area you're thinking of camping in and ask if they can accomodate this size of tent. Don't forget that even though the tent foot print is around 860x860cm you'll have to allow for guylines so that could add another 90 - 120cm to the whole foot print area.
