Hi, We are looking to buy a tent and are interested in the Wynnster Satellite 9. We are complete novices, so are looking for some help! Does anyone have one, and what do you think of it? Is the fly sheet or ground sheet sewn in? How long does it take to put it up? We have a 21 month daughter so we are worried about how long it takes to put it up! We are also looking at the Vango Colorado 600 DLX and Outwell Family Dome XL. Any feedback on those? Thanks in anticipation.

Hi ive had one for 3 years now and have found its poss the most stable tent ive used, other tents have been flapping away while the wind has just skipped over our sat 9. the inner pods have sewn in ground sheets but the living area has a clip in ground shhet, this has not proved a problem at all as the fly sheet is cut so well it reaches the groud really well. We found the instructions very good but we allways put the 3 pole through the main dome and then fix 4 guys to hold the dome if its windy then push the poles through each pod section and again use 2 guys per pod to pull each pod out. If you do it this way its realy easy to fit the inner tents and main ground sheet, then you just go around and peg the fly sheet down and if its really good weather we just tie the guy ropes out of the way. The roof vents are great for letting the hot air out in the summer as ive found all polyester/nylon tents can get very hot in the summer.Hope this helps.

I'd agree with Anthony. We've had one for two years with no problems at all. It is quite a large tent if there are only the three of you but the spare pod is great for storing stuff. There are 5 of us and we fit in no problem. It takes about 20 mins to get the basic shape up and about another 20-30 to bang in all the pegs and guys (of which there are a lot!). It is rock solid when put up.
