Guest Neil
Going to France camping for the first time this year, used electic hookup in UK, have a 25 meter lead and so on, can I use it in France or do I need a convertor/adaptor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Neil.
Guest Martin Casswell
I've never camped in France, but have been on the continent and used UK electrical items and have required an adapter. You can get them from all sorts of outlets, even on the ferry & they don't cost much. Hope that helps! Martin
Guest andy
You need a waterproof moulded 2-pin adapter, from most camping shops. Andy
Guest Suzannah Maxted
Just got back from France - champagne reagion - and they had standard british hook ups. Suggest you e-mail where you intend to stay and ask them.
Guest S J Pulman
My wife & I camp in France and have found various types of electrical connection. Commonest was via 3pin (16A) blue site plug the same as here in UK. Others had ordinary domestic French 2 pin & E connector. Take a long three core lead and buy necessary connector locally. At our last site at Montrueill-sur Mere we needed 35 metres.
