Oi Joy, all very well having these obscure writers and what have you, but for those of us what dont read much you might just as well give those clues in Mandarin. Could'nt we just stick to subjects we all know and figure out who it is by working out the clues given.

Right Boots, lets get this one out of the way first.

What you would call a young girl from North of the border.
Good at rounding up sheep, but that coat needs deflea-ing now and then.

Look after yourself Joy and lets hope everything works out well for you. Take care. x
Right Boots, lets get this one out of the way first.

Main charactor in long running TV series who always wore the same coat.
What you would call a young girl from North of the border.
Good at rounding up sheep, but that coat needs deflea-ing now and then.
And she always came home.

Sorry Howie, my instructions were to monitor answers and give clues as necessay on Roon's posting. Its round and fits iunto an envelope. So take it from there..

I am probably wrong here, but Lassie ?
Bit of a 'shot in the dark' there Ria, but go on, i'll give you that one.
Is it a hot air balloon Boots. Aren't they round and kept in 'envelopes' or something.

You were up late last night, or should I say up earlt this morning.
No not either suggestion. I think a clue is in order.
The round object could come in more than one size (so could the envelope presumably) but given the price of postage, I am sure Joy intended it to fit in standard size. Oh, the clue - hope you don't comr to a stick end.

Hi ohgrandma
It is an office thing, a tube of glue that one can use to cleanly stick two documents together.
Think it is supposed to be non hardening so you can seperate the documents later without tearing either of them, usually about two and a half inches long and just over an inch and a half across it

Able to fit into a envelope don't forget.
Comes in more than one size.
Stops glass eyes from falling out.
Larger than a contact lens.

A. Roll of sellotape.

A little further info, a pritstick (at least the one I have in front of me) is like a large lipstick, pull the top off twist end to 'push' a waxy like glue stick out, which gets me to thinking, for a quite life if I was to swap ...
