We have a good friend who wants to meet a knight in a shining motor home to whisk her off to the ends of the earth. She is 62 and lives in Surrey. All prospective Lancelots leave details here and they will be passed on. ;-)

Given the matter some thought Norman, but unfortunately the wife is a bit old fashioned in this respect and refuses to go along with it.
I don,t have any magazines to hand at the moment, but there are quite a few clubs out there that cater for single motorhomers and perhaps this would be the best way of making the first inquiries, although hopefully someone on these forums will reply. Best of luck.

Hello everyone!

I am back from my travels and catching up with all of your news and views.

That is a very interesting comment, Michele. Why do you think that Janine should 'think outside the box' in this respect?

It is human nature for women to need a 'mate' - they struggle to feel fulfilled otherwise.

Now then you two p*rn stars, you're going to get yourselves banned.: $

Janine - you've got to give men something to do, like having to run around after you, keep you in the manner to which you are accustomed .. or one which you really should become accustomed to ... they've got to have something to strive for, being undemanding gives them nothing to aim for and they soon get bored and don't try any more. Just ask Michele - she's got Howie and Chopper, and now the Judge, chomping at the bit!

I'll find a nice new avatar but I'm keeping my clothes on!

Good morning. Here I am, all grizzled and sleepy eyed, warm and cuddly, having arisen from a deep slumber, filled with exciting dreams !
Like when I ran into a burning house, to find a generously proportioned female in a state of near nakedness, overcome by smoke inhalation, lying with limbs akimbo across her bed, awaiting deliverance from the ultimate fate of death from fire. Not a pretty sight. And how do you think it felt, to try to lift a body like that, at the same time, attempting to preserve some form of modesty on her behalf ? Not easy, I can tell you.
So ladies, please be prepared for all eventualities, and sleep with the teeth in

Just make sure the smoke alarms have batteries in them. Many are the times where alarms failed at the moment of crisis 'cos someone had borrowed it for the tranny or summat.
And if you need someone to test them for you., ask a fireman.

Hi Janine

With your obvious liking for bikinis (and no complaints there) why not get the scissors and cooking foil out this year and have a bit of fun.

Cheers

Ahhh.. so you admit to merely being 'elderly' and not 'old' now

I think some interrogation might be in order...

a) Which was the first war that you remember?
b) How old is Mrs Dave?
c) How old is your oldest pair of underpants?

a) I was quite upset by the Charge of the Light Brigade, when most of the 43rd East Cheam Light Arse Hortillery were slaughtered, but I was quite small at the time so didn't really understand.
b) Who says there is a Mrs Dave? I'm not sure, but I don't think I'm legally married.
c) Can't remember, but they are down in the shed for putting polish on bits of wood. I'll go down and see if there's a date on the laundry mark if you are really interested.

What are these genes then peeps!!

Are they Levi's, Diesel,Lambretta or what, as I need to get some.

Fed up with the ones that I've got - especially with all the cuts in them, and frayed on the heels because I can't get any the right length.

Hellooooooo

Just back after 3 weeks away touring Bavaria in the brand new van.

High heels - I wish!!, i'm on about my "platform" shoes that us men used to wear, hoping these will make a come back.

X dressing- makes a difference at w/ends after the suits that I have to wear during the week.

Thai

Richard, welcome back.

You were probably disappointed when you realised that Frank is away in Norfolk for a few days.

Missed your banter.....

Thanks folks. I do try and avoid the computer when it's fine, and after such a wonderful summer who can blame us for bu#####ng off whenever we can?
And then again the wily charms of all you lovely kindly and ever so sexy ladies sometimes gets too much to bear so I have to go have a very long cold shower.

And so three months later..................................................refreshed.......

Its been an interesting summer.
A second new grandchild arrived, a 'new' van (Tracker) was purloined, and we sold both our houses, as well as two holidays in Spain (by air and car) and umpteen weeks away in the 'van from Bude to Bridgewater to Boston and all points in between.
Away again next week to London and beyond - well Norfolk actually - (I miss Frank) unless us changes us's (what we whimsically call) 'minds') and goes to Devon instead?
Who knows?
Might even get to Dave's Rave at York if the wind is in the right direction.
And I can always be sure that wherever I go in this Green and Pleasant Land I have plenty of wind to fill my sails.
Think what you like about where it comes from however but do worry about where it goes?
Just need to find a new home somewhere quiet, convenient with lots of parking and a good view before the nice man who wants my home starts getting uppity about the delay.

PS -9 - OK then I won't tell 'em - if you won't tell em what I'm really like either.
Deal or no deal?
