  1. It’s a minefield and make no mistake, I’ve only ever part ex’d vans and dealers can be outright crooks, I was attempting to part ex a van in August (I’d had the van hab checked FOUR days earlier, clean bill of health with NO damp anywhere, book stamped by recognised and affiliated company.) lo and behold the dealer found damp, I told them FRO and called them liars to their face. Just beware there are thieves out there.

    I’ve heard good things about MHD to be fair, they seem to be held in high regard.
    Good luck.

    Hi

    May I refer you to your handbook pages 210 -213 for correct filling procedure and cautions  of your AdBlue (urea) as per manufactures instructions

    Regards

    You have already suggested that and I have , I also quoted the handbook and asked a question as I’m uncertain of a certain piece of terminology.

  4. Move the key to the MAR position , it is not necessary to start the engine
    Wait for the indication on the instrument panel to switch off before moving the vehicle. The indication may stay on for a few seconds to approximately half a minute.
    If the engine is started and the vehicle is moved, the indication will remain on for longer. This will not compromise engine operation;

    The above is copied from the manual , explaining what to do post filling with ad blue , what is meant by the indication on the instrument panel switching off ? Cheers .

  5. Had a Bailey for ten years, recently chopped it in for a new Burstner Harmony Line.

    We loved the Bailey and it gave us 51000 miles of motorhoming pleasure.

    The van over the years gave us some problems, habitation door and base vehicle niggles.

    if I was to give the whole Bailey package a mark out of ten I would give it a very sound 8/10.

    The Burstner is a class above ( as it should be for the price ), everything just seems that much better.

    Would I have a Bailey again if I had a Bailey budget, a resounding yes is the answer.
