  1. Just looked at the advert for "Monster mats". It shows that they can be used under levelling ramps to stop the motor home sinking into wet grass.

On the subject of levelling ramps; when we move off site we always have clods of grass and soil in the holes. I had thought of filling the holes with expanding foam to stop them being filled with clods of grass and soil.

Would this soak up the water? Any opinions please!

  2. We used to travel all around the country when my sons were karting. We had a trailer for the karts one inside and one on the top. The trailer also carried spare tyres, tools, helmets race suits, shoes and fuel plus other things. I find it strange that you would want to carry petrol in cans in the rear garage of a motor home.

Have you not thought about a kart trailer? Then your options for a motor home would be greater.

  3. Rubber Grass & Ground Protection Mats 1.5m x 1m x 23mm £26.99

Milenco grip mats Dimensions per mat: Length: 75cm Width: 25.5cm £25.41 for a pair.

I would go for the Milenco Giant Lattice Grip Mat Slip x2 Length: 106cm Width: 33cm £29.95 and they are Interlocking-Can be multi linked together, length and width.

  4. My wife and I each have an e-bike and we now always look to have an EHU to charge the batteries. We also now use an air-fryer which as cut down on gas usage.

The way we use the van has changed because of the need for an EHU, and the battery charge can last for a few days but again it depends on your usage.

We did buy a 12 volt e-bike battery charger looking at using that to charge batteries whilst on the move. But then thought against it; these batteries are Lithium Ion and what would happen if the battery on charge suddenly burst into flames?

  5. Although we have visited France most years for the last 25 years and are completely okay with the French regulations, we are planning to go to Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium in September. We have been to these countries before some 15 years ago and prior to Brexit and the emission laws that most countries are enforcing.

What do I need for these countries; similar to the French Crit'Air  certificate?

Do these countries have need laws that may catch me out?

Any advise would be most welcome..

    Good afternoon

I have an adria lt 500 control panel

Everything seems to be working except the light telling me I'm hooked up to mains

Everything that is 240v is working in the van but it does not seem to be charging the leisure batteries

The question mark is flashing indicating a problem

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I've had this same problem. The cause of the problem turned out to be the 240 volt plug had fell out from the input socket on the bottom of the EBL 226 transformer / rectifier unit under the seat next to the leisure battery. Simple Fix.
