  1. We Recently bought a Cello for use in the kitchen at home.

excellent purchase only 14 inch and no wifi capability, seriously thinking of getting the 22 inch with wifi for in the van, downside is, no dvd but, as you can stream loads of stuff not sure if dvd is needed anymore.

The tv was delivered within three days and was included in the price of £99.00 it comes with a fitted battery which automatically charges when plugged in and it lasts about an hour without plugging in so ideal if you want to watch the news or something whilst doing the washing up etc, it even came with a stubby ariel in the box (I paid £12.00 for one on amazon and the ariel works surprisingly well.

the led picture is excellent and sound pretty good for a small tv, viewing angle is pretty good as well.

  2. My 2015 115 had the same hater and I asked the dealer the same question,

It does felt like it is blowing cold air but in fact it is sucking it in, easiest way to tell is to let go of a paper handkerchief in front of it and iff it is sucking in it will get drawn towards it, if not, blown away.

  3. We have over the years joined THS without booking or fuss and the same with rallies (most times just happen to drive past one in a convenient spot.

Tried to join a C&MC rally once, what a todo, took the best part of an hour to book in with and constantly being told how lucky we were to get on (we only wanted to stop one night.

  5. Hi Jeremy,

Are you sure there wasn't something nearby jamming the signal.

We had a house opposite us having a delivery from Wickes and my alarm and key fob wouldn't work until he had finished he was using his remote to unload bricks. also a garage near Oldbury in the West Midlands some cars on certain pumps could not be started unless moved away from the pump first as there was a high powered police repeater Ariel inside the garage sign.

  6. Just watched a u tube video and there was a gent who spent a small fortune trying to have his van fixed (blocked filter.

Turned out to be the external temperature sensor in the offside mirror was missing (a fiat dealer had fitted a replacement mirror and it didn't have a sensor in it, just a hole where it should be) easy to check if it's there just a hole if it isn't of course, you could have a sensor there but just not working, in true fiat tradition, you just can't buy a replacement sensor.

Apparently, the filter will not regenerate without the sensor. once the mirror was replaced and the filter cleaned ,it worked

  7. Tent hire, now there's a blast from the past, we bought our first drive away awning from them, pure cotton bright orange with brown steel poles.

    Must have been about 1975

Are they still near the dual carriageway just off junction 10 on the M6?

  8. Back in 2002 I decided that I would have another 125 for work had an on off relationship with bikes since I was 16.

Thinking that I could just put l plates on and off I go, as soon as I had paid for the bike the shop owner told me about the training, well, I had no choice but to comply.

There were three of us on the day, myself and two novices, thinking what a waste of time and money the lesson began, the first novice took the bike off the stand and dropped it on the floor saying that he didn't realise how heavy they were, the second one driving in a figure of eight crashed into the road bridge (perhaps now I could see why they have the courses.

When I passed I was then told that I would have to retake it if I didn't go on to pass the riding test, I took the test and passed with just 4 minor faults (25 is a fail) what really got me going is that even though I have been driving for 40 + years at the time I had to go and take the theory test (now, should I fail this test would my driving be revoked?

I bought a Kawasaki er 5 two years later I swapped the bike for two walking Sticks. lol

  9. we put a expandable net curtain rail behind the shower curtain, added four hooks (closed at one end and knobs on the other) so no sharp points and hang large bath towels on these, the original towel rail was inadequate and I told it so.

we also had a suction type hook and stuck it to the mirror next to the wash basin for the hand towel.

the toilet door opens towards the bed and the light switch is on the outside of the room, when you turn the light on in the middle of the night the light burns your retinas out, so we bought a three pack of battery operated leds from good old poundland and stuck one just under the cupboard, just the right amount of light for a visit to the toilet.

When we pull our blinds down at night there is a gap at the bottom which lets in a surprising amount of light, so we invested 87 p for a length of pipe insulation, which clips on the bottom of the blind and blocks the light, just pop it behind the seat backrest during the day.
