Vernon B
In the light of Tomo's post of yesterday and similar threads over the months I thought it was worth drawing everyone's attention to the piece by Rachel Stothert in June's edition of MMM (page 178). What Rachel fails to make clear (and it should have been headlined) is that by going to www.tyresafe.org you can download a chart showing tyre size and recommended tyre pressure for a range of axle loadings. This chart is a master piece and should be in everyone's info file - in fact it should be compulsory for every manufacturer to provide one as part of the 'van documentation. Not only does it tell you the correct pressure to run your tyres at for a particular axle load but it also redlines absolute maximum loads. A brilliant piece of work - get your copy now Vernon
