Just wondering what the parking was like, I have been on the web looking for a site within walking distance of about 6 miles but not had any luck so far. DaveH Posted May 25, 2008 Share Posted May 25, 2008 We went to the RHS show last year and the closest site we found was Lamb Cottage Site at CW8 2BN. Can't meet your 6 miles walking as its about 15 miles away but there was no problem using the motorhome for the day. It had been raining quite heavily and parking was in open field/parkland but there was a tractor touring the parking area all day just waiting to pull someone out! Posted May 25, 2008 Share Posted May 25, 2008 Like Dave says no trouble taking your Motorhome into Tatton Park for the day, we have been twice with ours, but one work of caution, go as early as you possibly can as the traffic soon builds up for miles around and can be a nightmare. chatterdog Posted May 27, 2008 Share Posted May 27, 2008 pickmere lake caravan park and woodlands caravan park are both in the knutsford area, both have a mix of tourers and statics.
