Vernon B Posted May 28, 2008 Share Posted May 28, 2008 This is certainly a move in the right direction Don but there are limitations. 1) Not all banks and most Building Societies will not be participating from day 1 2) It only applies to electronic transfers - ie you'll need to have your own on line bank account 3) There will be a limit of £10,000 for a transfer 4) It will be up to individual banks as to whether they make charges for the service.
