oldie Posted May 28, 2008 Share Posted May 28, 2008 Does anyone on here understand the new Road Tax rates?. Originally I thought it omitted pre 2001 vehicles. Now it appears it includes pre 2001 over 1600 cc. How will it affect older motorhomes?. I've given up the thought of a replacement and spent several £100's on a general overhaul. However I thought a) that these plans may well be shelved/put on hold following the present increases in oil prices and b) that they only related to March 2001-onwards vehicles. Above from Telegragh For many years there has been a dual level taxing of cars above and below 1549cc, I have two vehicles which if I tax them will be affected, but seems more or less a rise that would be expected.
