One of the radio control keys for the alarm needs reprogramming, to do this I need to locate the alarm to find the serial number. Am told the unit is under the dash but before pulling it all off does anyone know where it is likely to be located? 1992 Fiat Ducati 1.9 T Hymer 544.

If you can get the alarm out quick enough whilst it is blaring away to stop being aprehended then go ahead and have a try! It takes ruddy ages to access it as I well know when I was trying to get at it to find the flipping fuses ... which weren't there!!! >:-)

Hi all

easy way to locate an alarm.

place your ear towards the bottom/underneath of the dashboard and click your other remote fob.

you will then hear a double click

it will either be one of two devices

1. central door locking relay (passenger side at fusebox)

2. alarm unit

all alarm units give off a click sound

regards

Andy

point 1: not neccesarily in this position, it depends on the vehicle.

All alarm units do not click, only those that include a central door locking interface will click.
