Guest JudgeMental Posted June 15, 2008 Share Posted June 15, 2008 No VAT to pay as long as over 6 months old and covered x miles (cant remember mileage) Just make sure VAT was payed - and that you get a copy of purchase receipt proving payment. a lot of ex hire vans are sold at 6 months old, no VAT has been paid as they have been operated by a business. but VAT is due when sold on privately.
