smokie joe Posted June 24, 2008 Share Posted June 24, 2008 Has anyone been to Le Grand Parc in Puy duFou? is it worth a visit and were did you stay, can you stay on site with a motorhome as you can at Disney? Book the nightime show before you go on the uk website. http://www.puydufou.com/uk/ You can stay overnight for free!! and you are positively encouraged to do so. The night show is stunning but does finish late, headphones with an English translation are available. My advice would be to arrive in the day early enough to visit the parc and complete your parc visit the following day and the see the evening show then. To call it a theme park is wildly innaccurate, it is so unique. I have been 4 times first time I stumbled on it by accident about 15 years ago-it keeps getting better. Also unlike Disney it is tasteful and true, not a sweet sugary version of things lots of knights and Vikings for the youngsters to enjoy a superb falconry display and lots more beside. Randonneur Posted June 25, 2008 Share Posted June 25, 2008 The Parc looks good, have had a look at the website for a family ticket or a 2 day pass but can only find 1 day pass.
