Stew
One of the rear shocks has gone on my tag axke Autotrail Chieftain, question is where can I get a replacement, does it have to be alko? I think the part number is 282251. Any help greatly received. Stew :-D
Syd
I believe shockers should be replaced in pairs Just in case you dont have it here is Alko's internet address with their shockers on http://217.199.167.226/shop/acatalog/Shock_Absorbers.html
davenewellhome
Syd is spot on, all suspension components should be replaced in axle pairs as with brakes. If not then you could end up with a dangerous imbalance across the axle. D.
Stew
Thanks for that so far, I did intend to replace in a pair, I was just wondering if anybody had bought them other than off alko, and where from. Alko want @£77 plus vat plus delivery each. The ones shown on the alko site appear to be for the caravan axles, not sure if they are suitable for motorhome axles.Different part numbers. Cheers anyway Stew
