Minstrel
I know that Camping Rosaleda is a good site at Conil de la Frontera (between Cadiz and Gibraltar). We stayed a week there last Autumn and every day people were arriving to spend the winter there. Absolutely essential to book early, people stipulate which pitch tehy want when booking. colinfrier
Hi I live on the Costa del Sol so don't camp in the area but have been to Siera Nevada at Christmass it's realy buzzing I am sure there are plenty if sites check out the usual sources. Last Xmas we lunched at our local 4 star Hotel,( Hotel Vineula see their web site) on the terrace sat outside untill 5pm on 25th (50 euros a head with all drinks superb) and went to Siera Nevada Boxing day about 11/2 hour drive. Ther is a camp site near the Hotel "Camping Pressa la Vineula" on the lake never stayed there but looks very nice. Colin Frier
Minstrel
How about Camping Versoyen at Bourg St Maurice, not been there for Christmas but all hardstandings, minibus to the funicular each day, walking distance from the town and even closer to supermarkets.
