net-traveller Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 If you who didn't watch This Week last night you missed mental pictures which would raise a smile even on a miserable day like today. This Week is a semi political program, very irreverent, chaired by Andrew Neill with resident pundits Diane Abbot, Labour MP, and Michael Portillo, ex onservative MP. After the news that the Treasury were rewriting the Golden Rule (great idea, if it isn't making you look good change it, wouldn't we all like that power) - AN: Diane, whats the relationship like between Gordon and Alastair at the moment? DA: (after a moments reflection) well, Gordon is like a farmer and Alastair is like a tethered lamb. AN: with a worried look on his face? For those of you with a less then pure mind many and various welsh sheep jokes come to mind. ;-)
ROON Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 Oh, superb programme. senility setting in and I have started laughing out loud and the neighbours must surely be getting worried.
