Klyne Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 I have only been a member for about a week but I assume this is a predominantly a motorhome forum as there seem few posts from caravanners but quite a few from motorhomers. David
Guest Tracker Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 This is because more Motor Caravanners have discovered the benefits of sharing information, insulting each other, and having a laugh in the process, than have tuggers - so far. There is nothing to stop as many caravanners as want to from developing their own caravan section(s) to the same degree - or indeed to a different degree - or indeed joining in with the motor home brigade who are, after all mainly but with a few exceptions a very friendly and helpful - if somewhat irreverent bunch of enthusiasts! Please do come and join us - we don't bite - well not often anyway!
CliveH Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 I suppose it is but then I plan to have a MH in the future so that is fine by me as a tugger. What attracted me to the Forum was the Out & About mag itself as it covers everything i am interested in. On the whole this Forum is fairly easy going, a good laugh and informative.
Ranger Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Hi Klyne, originally his Forum was the MMM forum only open to those who prescribed to the MMM Motorhome Monthly Magazine. One could only get into the forum with their own Prescription Number. Thankfully it is now open to all and is run for the rest of the readers magazines in this group. It is nice to get together with all those who who enjoy the great out doors in tents as well as big white boxes on wheels. I am a tugger as well as a motorhomer, only lived in tents when I had to from time to time in the armed forces.
Ranger Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 I think the word I shuld have used above is:- "SUBSCRIBED" ?????????????
catinou Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 I don't know David - our subscription works as a prescription every month when the MMM drops through the letterbox ;-) I for one, always feel a lot "better" after reading through it B-)
Ranger Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 I like your line of thought Jenny, I'm sure it is a tonic for everyone, it is for me.
ROON Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Hi Klyne, I have posted before that I wish more caravanners would join in with Chatterbox and other friendly banter and information, but I do agree they seem in short supply. Maybe YOU could start the ball rolling for a regular and get other caravanners to join in too. Joy
