George Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Yes, Camping La Chaumiere is popular with pet owners, it is owned by Guy and Bernadette Barbery. Bernadette works at a vets in St Omer and will arrange the appointment. It is a good little site and has some hardstandings suitable for large motorhomes. It has a bar, and food available depending on the time of year. The site is close to the small village of Buysscheure which has a small shop, but it is only a short drive to a supermarket. It takes about an hour from Calais. Friendly couple who speak English. www.campinglachaumiere.com
Klyne Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 As an alternative you could use this site http://www.davidklyne.plus.com/ChateauduGandspette.htm There are several vets in the area and I am sure reception would be able to help. I am hoping to try La Chaumiere in late August so if I get there I will put a report on the web site. David
