Numbers around £79, 0.55amps, 85amps, 240volts. Looks neat, narrow at front, up to underside of worktop, white. Would look good in a Caravan/Motorhome and all for just £79. twooks Posted August 15, 2008 Share Posted August 15, 2008 can't comment on this particular fridge - but I'm all in favour of compressor fridges. find ours to be efficient and a perfect match for our style of camping [ie nowhere too hot n move on every couple of days] and doesn't require horrible holes in the side of the van !! Bill Ord Posted August 16, 2008 Share Posted August 16, 2008 Hi, One of the often quoted advantages of compressor fridges is not needing to vent the heat to the exterior. Have any users on the Forum had any issues with this making the interior too hot? the heat has to go somewhere and if it doesn't exit the 'van then it is acting as a pretty good heat pump to the interior, could be an advantage in cold conditions but on the other hand if the cooling fins were exposed to exterior temperatures it would be more efficient and consume less battery power and of course be quieter. davenewellhome Posted August 18, 2008 Share Posted August 18, 2008 It would not be a good idea to fit this fridge into a motorhome. It is designed for static use in a domestic location and therefore the compressor and its associated pipework will not like the constant vibration and bouncing around in a motorhome.
