ROON Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 Apparently there is a problem with the lighting at the Olympic Games stadium.. Most of the audience appear to be squinting.
Bazza454 Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 Watching the Olympic 100m race is a bit like being in a London nightclub. You hear a gunshot then half a dozen guys run like hell.

Most of the audience appear to be squinting. I think there probably is some kind of a problem with the lighting in the stadium as there are so many athletes wearing sunglasses after dark. I'll have to check the relay playbacks, maybe that's why so many dropped the baton - they couldn't see it. I suppose they may be reactolite specs ? ;-)
ROON Posted August 23, 2008 Author Posted August 23, 2008 On a more serious note, am I the only one who worries about Tibet situation once the games are over.... The acceptance of the games by all and sundry is going to be seen as acceptance by the West of the atrocities the Chinese carry out and the way they have even treated their own people over the stadium building. Not that they would give a damn anyway, I guess. :-(
Syd Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 Watched a little thing about the Games last night, they held an impromtu "Look alike competition" and everyone won (lol) (lol) (lol) (lol)
