HWO Posted August 28, 2008 Share Posted August 28, 2008 Hi there The last few years we have been going to York. the CC site is practically in the centre of town so it's very handy to hit the town at night for a beer or a bite to eat without the need for transport. when we are there we do Christmassy things like going to the pantomine( it's mostly adults when you get in the theatre) etc . The atmosphere around the old part of the city is wonderful. The site is not usually full over the Christmas period, which is unusual for Rowntree Park. A s a extra this year we are going on to Edingburgh for the new year and then having a slowish tour back to our base in the Midlands. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
