Klyne
Do you mean for using it in Europe or to buy one in Europe. If its use of a UK purchased one my understanding is that it can be used in Europe with Vodafone partners for £10 a day with a download/upload restriction of 50MB. So although an improvement on the old £10MB its still very expensive. Its a pity they did not have a 10MB limit for say £3 a day which would cover most needs. We have yet to see the outcome of the EU Telecoms Commissioners efforts to reduce data and text roaming in Europe and I suspect we will have to wait until next year for an answer. If the same happens to data and text as happened to voice calls prices should come down by a third although in reality it needs to be much more than that. One thing that might be standing in he way of prices coming down is that mobile broadband does not seem to be as popular, yet, in the rest of the EU. When that happens prices should tumble. Basil
Depends where you mean in Europe. 3G dongle is free to use (within your call plan) in parts of Europe e.g. Italy and costs up to £3/ meg in other parts.
