kelly58
Next week we are thinking of going to France for a couple of weeks although summer is supposed to be over autumn can be nice so has any of you well travelled motorhomers got any suggestions as to where would be a nice area to visit for good weather this time of year not too bothered about beaches but they can be very relaxing places to stopover for a few days about 200 / 250 miles from Calais would be ok. thanks Kellyhttp://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/images/emoticons/icon_lol.gif

libby
Look at the TV weather map when the isobars are shown. If the jet stream is above the UK then we are pretty certain to see air movements moving from the Mediteranian which are not so violent. Do let us know. I could sink here without trace! Basil
We are off to France on the 4th and we will be heading south to St Dizier then across to the Alsace. This is a bit further than where your milage will take you but we have had excellent weather this time of year in that area. Bas
