Rosyth is around 45 miles away from us in Glasgow but we have never used the ferry because of the cost, around £800 compared to under £100 for the SeaFrance Dover - Calais. Even taking diesel into account it's not worth it to us. I'd be prepared to pay , say £400 - £500 but doubt if that kind of price is viable for the ferry company.
