Herri
Whilst inspecting the underbody of my 1997 Bürstner, I see there is a panel of ply I think where the underseal or whatever has come off. Although it is drynow, it looks as if there was some water damage at sometime. Its the panel below the heater cupboard. My question: What should I use to re-protect this area against water? Will car underseal be ok or is there something special for Camoers/Caravans? Thanks in advance. Herri
Geoff Cole
Hi Herri, If its dry now then give it a coat of bitumastic primer, its very thin and will soak in this will seal the ply. Then give the area a good coat of underseal, or bitumastic paint. this should keep the damp out. Good luck with it. Geoff
