PSHORT
I am still finding it impossible to completely prevent water getting through the shuttle connection on the Duacto. I have reduced it to a minimum with the black guey stuff and Duck tape(not very cool for an expensive new bit of m/home) but still does let a bit through. Does it also come through the rubber gasket adjacent to the windscreen as well? On looking at the other vehicles in the family I notice that either the shuttle is one piece with no joins or even in my daughters Peugeot 206 the join is offset and not in the centre. The fact its in the centre of the Ducato and in the lowest point means water is always waiting to go somewhere. Why can't Fiat simply retro fit a shuttle with the join to one side? Perhaps they do now.
colinfrier
Hi You may need to seal the scuttle to the screen as I have done but even if that is sucessfull the water has no where to go if you are parked at on a camber extra drain tubes are needed at each end of the scuttle and one for the fresh air intake I did mine about a year ago and inside engine compartment is completley dry who needs covers over everything. Details on request Colin Frier
